Inaugurated in 2018 in the spaces of the V-A-C Foundation, SudEst 1401 is the result of fruitful encounters: between southern Italy, the Balkans and the Middle East, but also between art and food. The staff delights diners with parmigiana, moussaka, caponata and couscous alla trapanese, offering a constantly evolving menu that respects the rhythms of nature.

In the heart of Dorsoduro, this inn and restaurant run by the same family for decades awaits you. Fish is the protagonist in the kitchen, in a menu that is attentive to tradition, quality and seasonality of products. The walls of the dining room are overflowing with works of art and, as the weather gets milder, you can’t miss the opportunity to dine al fresco in the inn’s delightful garden.

Undoubtedly endowed with one of the most characteristic views of the city, the Osteria al Squero allows you to enjoy an aperitif while admiring the historic squero di San Trovaso. The cicheti are prepared daily using only quality products and are accompanied by selected wines mostly from the Triveneto (Veneto, Alto Adige and Friuli Venezia GIulia regions).

Overlooking a picturesque square, the restaurant has grown alongside the Fenice theatre. Here you can relax with an aperitif, perhaps listening to a faint echo of opera in the background, enjoy a dish inspired by Venetian tradition or sip a cocktail after dinner.

Located next to the theatre, Antico Martini is a historic restaurant. You should go there at twilight, when its golden light invites you in to enjoy a world between dream and reality.

Well off the beaten track, we recommend a pleasant stop at Campo dell’Angelo Raffaele, in the Dorsoduro sestiere. Here you can enjoy a quiet Venice and the authentic hospitality of Anzolo Raffaele. The menu is inspired by Italian tradition, particularly Veneto and Sardinia, with great attention to the quality of the products – some of which are also for sale.
